Poem in Latin hexameters divided into 12 books as the zodiac signs but where astrology plays a secondary role to the study of the plurality of worlds, and above all the condemnation of the ecclesiastical abuses of the Roman Curia by the Pope; sympathy for the ideas of Luther and Erasmus. The work was first published in Venice in 1536, then Basel in 1543. The author, in Italian Marcello Stellato and later also called Pier Angelo Manzolli, was exhumed five years after his death and burned at the stake by Pope Paul III.
