" I wish to express my heartfelt thanks to all the kind donors of the beautiful wreaths and flowers which were sent as tokens of affection in memory of our beloved King. Alexandria." Hand-written envelope postmarked London SW: Mrs Hall Walker, The Grange, Gatacre, Liverpool, with red official and oval Buckingham Palace postmarks. Her husband Edward VII died on 6 May, 1910.
