A collection of 17 b&w photographs of various sizes, showing New Guinea and New Ireland villages, men in traditional costume, forest and plantation scenes, carvings, villagers preparing sago and copra, with hand-written descriptions on the back of most of them. Also, 13 ink sketches on stiff card of items such as spear heads, ceremonial caps, cooking pots, fishing scenes and canoes, fishing kites, methods of trapping flying foxes, clubs, etc, all with hand-written descriptions, an signed by W McGregor, from an expedition he made to New Guinea.
