No Binding. 14 original photographs of Lady Wavertree's charity tennis tournaments held at her home, Sussex Lodge, London, c. 1930s. Two are of doubles matches in action involving French players Lenglen, Borotra, Cochet, Lacost etc,,one with some loss to margins. Three photographs are of Lady Wavertree's Charity Ball including Princess Catherine and Prince Vsevolod of Russia, and Prince Arthur of Connaught and Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone. The other 9 photos are of large groups of players and spectators from London Society at the events. A great set pf photos showing society and tennis of the 1930s. Good. Item #019431
