Whereas on the morning of the 13th July, 1875, one Samuel Jamieson, disappeared....generally supposed to be drowned accidentally in Fox's River...there is now good reason to suspect that the said Samuel Jamieson was on the date aforesaid Murdered and his body concealed, Notice is hereby given that a Reward of £50 will be paid....for information as shall lead to the discovery of the Body....and an additional sum of£50 for such further information as shall lead to the conviction of the murderer.
