1831. No Binding. Hand-written signed letter from Sir Walter Scott to Elizabeth Scott, from Portsmouth, dated 25 October,1831. Attached is a hand-written copy of the letter in more discernable hand-writing, written at the time. The letter says: "Sir Walter Scott, at present a traveller in quest of health, wishes the young proprieter of this album, Miss Elizabeth Scott, a continuance of that & every other blessing, and begs a portion of her recollection as her early and sincere friend, Walter Scott.
