No Binding. A large, panoramic aquatint of the city and harbour of Sebastopol on the Crimea. The image shows the fortifications on the shore with the crowded city behind, sailing and steam ships underway in the foreground, and numerous ships at anchor behind a chain barrier in the inner harbour. Pale stain on upper left side but the colour good and clear. c. 1850s, associated woth the Crimean War. An extraordinary elevated view of Sebastopol from Lemercier.
