Henry Brougham, 1st Baron Brougham and Vaux (1778-1868) was the liberal and reformist politician who became Lord Chancellor in 1830, playing a significant role in passing the Reform Act, and in the abolition of slavery. Lady Moore was the wife of Admiral Sir Graham Moore who served in the Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars, eventually retiring to Brook Farm in Surrey. 11.5 x 7 cm. Very Good. Item #019882
