1891. 4to. Hardcover. 31 dried New Zealand fern specimens finely mounted on card, with hand-written botanical names. Includes two hand-written pages (loose) signed by Stanhope Worsley, Dunedin, N.Z., June 1891, explaining that he collected them in June while resident in Dunedin and had them identified and named by Professor Parker of Dunedin [Otago] University. Bound in original padded leather with 'New Zealand Ferns' in gilt on front board, all edges gilt, minor wear to extremities Albums such as these, and in this condition, are extremely rare.
