Three illustrated cards showing aviation exploits such as Major G H Scott and an experimental flight of a MK XI D Balloon, Sir Alan Cobham and a sea plane in London over the Thames, Major W G Barker and Nimrod during surveillance. Cards stamped, and franked, 1976-1978, and signed. Commemorating the 60th anniversary of the RAF (1978), 60th anniversary RAF Cardington, and the 50th anniversary of the first flight from Britain to Australia. 11.5 x 16.5 cm. Very Good. Item #020721
