A very nice copy of one of the finest of all the works on New Zealand botany. Gives a general coverage of New Zealand species, with descriptions of discovery, naming etc. The 40 locally-printed chromolithographs are outstanding. Two further volumes were planned but never were published. A particularly handsome volume with the finest 40 brightly coloured plates of the indigenous flora of New Zealand. Very Good. Item #020800
