1890. No Binding. Original collection of 12 gelatine glass plate negatives containing images of scenes in Tonga, Fiji and Hawaii. They include pictures of scenery such as the aguille in Iao Valley Hawaii, native huts in Tonga, a great house and soldiers in Fiji, a native village and King George's Palace,Tonga etc. These are from the Paradise of the Pacific and Cannibal Islands series by the Scottish pioneer photographer George Washington Wilson. c. 1890 Plates are 12 x 16 cm.
