The image shows a collection of waterfront buildings including the large Northern Roller Mills, the shipping merchant Wingate & Co, the cupola of the Customs Hourse, and others. In the foreground are a number of small sailing vessels and on the wharves a horse and cart and workers and passers-by. Behind plastic protection, with the mount torn away. Top corners of the image, showing sky, have some damage not affecting the harbour and building image of 25 x 37 cm. Image has a scratch in the sky, and some water staining at the base. A rare image early Auckland Harbour. Good. Item #020884
